Battle your mates

Everyone thinks their labels are the funniest. Now you can prove it. Put your labels up against a friend’s, pick the winner at each signal level and send the result to the group chat.

How it works

  1. Scan their code

    Your mate shows the QR code for their labels. Scan it, or paste the code they sent you.

  2. Pick the winners

    Your labels and theirs, side by side at each signal level. Tap the better one. Five rounds.

  3. Share the result

    The score, the winning labels and both cheek ratings, on a card made for the group chat.

Battles happen on your phone and nothing is uploaded. Your own labels stay as they are.

The 😱 cheek rating

Every label set gets a rating from 0 to 5, so “mine are ruder than yours” finally has a number.

  • Squeaky cleanPoor, Medium, Strong. Nothing to see here.
  • A bit cheekyThe odd “bloody” or “sod all”.
  • CheekyPlenty of #@!%, but nothing actually said.
  • RudeMild swearing at every level.
  • Very rudeProper swearing, most of the way down.
  • FilthyEvery level. Your nan would not approve.

Swearing’s fine. Slurs aren’t.

Signal Says is for having a laugh. Swear as much as you like, but slurs and hate speech are blocked: you can’t type them, and labels or codes that contain them won’t load.
